How it
came together

Challenge

A festival awards night gives you one pass at everything — filmmakers arriving on the carpet, winners reacting on stage, and the room at its loudest — all in low, coloured venue light with no chance to reshoot. The team also needed usable images fast, while the night was still current on social.

Approach

We covered the evening in three passes: arrivals against the sponsor backdrop, the ceremony from the floor to catch winner reactions as they happened, and the late carpet and afterparty once the room loosened up. Everything was shot to hold detail in mixed neon and stage lighting, then culled and graded to a consistent look rather than frame by frame.

Result

390+ delivered images with 39 fully edited heroes, turned around in 48 hours — fitting for a festival built on a 48-hour deadline.
